Moving On, Again

It doesn't take much

For a man to become interested in you.

Romantically, astronomically, astrophysically...

It must be a blessing and a curse.

A kaleidoscopic stream of male friends, or more:

Opportunity knocks often at your door.

You say you never want to be confined.

But even the Ocean is confined,

As is the Earth in her orbit.

You say you don't believe in marriage.

Well, I did once; and I still do.

A lonely flower, deeply rooted,

Swaying in the fragmentary breeze.
